Previously, the car park was frequently occupied for extended periods by patrons of surrounding gyms and lifestyle businesses, limiting availability for customers visiting The Metro Hyde Park retailers and dining destinations. Through a new collaboration with Secure Parking — now operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — parking availability across the centre has significantly improved, making quick visits, appointments and longer stays far more seamless.

While the updated system has already delivered positive results for customers, adapting to new parking processes can take a little time. Here’s everything you need to know before your next visit to The Metro Hyde Park.
Enjoy Your First Hour Free
For quick errands, coffee catch-ups or retail visits, the first hour of parking at The Metro Hyde Park is completely complimentary.
Parking signage is located throughout the car park. Simply:
1. Scan the QR code displayed on-site
2. Complete the online form
3. Enter your vehicle registration details
Once completed, your first hour of parking will be activated free of charge.
Staying Longer? Your Second Hour Can Also Be Complimentary
Planning to linger a little longer over lunch, browse the boutiques, or enjoy one of The Metro Hyde Park’s many health and beauty services?
Customers can unlock a complimentary second hour of parking by requesting an extension code from a participating retailer or service provider in-store. Simply scan the supplied code to activate the additional hour.
Why the Two-Step Parking System?
With a number of surrounding gyms and fitness providers located near The Metro Hyde Park, the updated system has been introduced to ensure parking remains available for genuine customers visiting businesses within the centre.
The second-hour validation process allows The Metro Hyde Park retailers, dining venues and service providers to extend complimentary parking directly to their customers, while helping maintain consistent parking availability throughout the day.
Parking Rates at The Metro Hyde Park
Customers visiting participating retailers and services can access up to two hours of complimentary parking.
For those requiring additional time, Secure Parking also offers flexible paid parking options, including:
* 1–2 hours — $4 (or complimentary with in-store extension validation)
* 2–3 hours — $8
* 3+ hours — $22 daily maximum
